WeatherCall@Home protects a fixed location.  When you register with WeatherCall, your address is geo-coded using highly accurate computerized mapping. Your location is then assigned a specific latitude/longitude number. That is the key to WeatherCall's computers alerting you to a storm specific warning.  Since 2007 the National Weather Service started storm-specific warnings, and since you are a current subscriber, you KNOW HOW ACCURATE WEATHERCALL IS! You, like other Weather Call subscribers, know that when you get your WeatherCall, the weather will likely get bad and you may need to act quickly!

WeatherCall ToGo services protect a smartphone's reported location. Most importantly, WeatherCall ToGo is not an 'native app' that runs in your phone's background which will run WeatherCallToGodown your phone's battery life before you might need to be notified.  When you are driving, open the web-app on your phone's browser screen and let it run.  When you see the green animated radar 'sweep' running, you know your phone is telling WeatherCall exactly where it is every 3o-seconds. That was if you are driving into a tornado, severe thunderstorm or flash flood warning, we will notify you according to the options you choose.  Then you will get that important all-clear message when the weather danger has passed for that specific set of storms, but be aware, severe weather often occurs back to back.  If you are driving to a set location you want monitored, open your web-app, let your phone tell WeatherCall where your phone is, and turn off the web app. That way you are still being monitored for that location with no additional battery use.
